Restoring the Broken Pieces
Meet Kamazia
Kamazia Mims is the Founder and Executive Director of Restoring the Broken Pieces (RTBP), a visionary mentor and author with more than 13 years of experience in human services.
Growing up surrounded by love and family, Kamazia also understood what it felt like to have thoughts, emotions, and questions she didn’t always know how to express. Those experiences shaped her belief that sometimes people simply need someone willing to listen, create a safe space, and remind them of their worth.
Through RTBP and programs such as Crowned & Called, Kamazia is turning that vision into meaningful experiences that encourage growth, healing, confidence, and purpose—helping people see that what looks like broken pieces can become the beginning of something beautifully restored.

Kamazia Mims is also the author of The Warfare of Me, a faith-centered book that encourages readers to overcome mental battles, understand spiritual warfare, and find healing and freedom in Christ.

Why I Do This Work
I believe some of the most defining moments in a person's life happen when someone takes the time to truly see them, listen to them, and remind them of what is possible.
Restoring the Broken Pieces was created to provide more than programming. It is about creating safe spaces, meaningful experiences, genuine relationships, and opportunities that help people recognize their worth and discover what is already within them.
I may not be able to change every chapter of someone's story, but I can help create an environment where they feel supported as they begin writing what comes next.
